We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team in delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in addiction treatment, with a thorough understanding of medical terminology and medication administration. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will oversee pharmacy operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and foster a collaborative environment focused on patient safety and effective medication management.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily pharmacy operations, including staff supervision and workflow optimization.
- Ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications to patients, adhering to all regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and medication therapy management.
- Conduct regular training sessions for pharmacy staff on best practices in medication administration and patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of medication inventory.
- Implement quality assurance programs to monitor medication safety and efficacy.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new medications, and changes in regulations to enhance pharmacy services.
- Address patient inquiries regarding medications, providing education on proper usage and potential side effects.
Requirements
- Active pharmacist license in the state of Ontario
