About the Role

We’re searching for a talented and motivated Senior Software Engineer to support development for a groundbreaking antenna system that provides mission planning and system control capabilities. You’ll work alongside an exceptional team to design, build, test, and deliver high-performance software that enables complex space operations.

What You’ll Do
- Plan, design, develop, and test software components that drive mission planning and command-and-control capabilities.
- Collaborate with fellow engineers to ensure smooth integration with other subsystems and third-party interfaces.
- Participate in all stages of the software lifecycle — from requirements and design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) through implementation and delivery.
- Debug, document, and refine code to meet system performance goals and program standards.
- Support Agile development cycles and ensure adherence to software best practices.
- Analyze user needs, system performance, and hardware/software interactions to guide development decisions.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 3 years of experience in software design and development.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively on complex, multi-component systems.
- Strong understanding of modern software development principles.
- Hands-on experience solving computationally intensive problems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools and development environments.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance (required).
Desired Skills
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in a technical discipline such as Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Experience integrating software with hardware interfaces or third-party APIs.
- Familiarity with web-based user interface development.
- Experience using C++, Python, Angular, ActiveMQ, or comparable technologies.

Compensation
The annual salary range for this role typically falls between $93,200 – $164,450, depending on location, experience, and qualifications.

- This is a Level 3 (mid-senior) position.
- Must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible.
- Some relocation assistance may be available.
- The position is contingent upon an upcoming program award expected later this year.
