PART-TIME HOUSEKEEPING/LAUNDRY AIDES

Position Summary
Under the direction of the Facility Services Supervisor, the Housekeeping/Laundry Aide will
perform the necessary labour required to maintain the cleanliness of the facility.
Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of the floors, walls, woodwork, windows, etc. in the interior of
the Home
- Perform laundry duties as assigned.
- Required to participate and support the City of Timmins Continuous Improvement Program
in order to help foster a culture of operational excellence;
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 education or equivalency.
- Previous related experience required.
- Sympathetic attitude towards the elderly.
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Current clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screen required.
- Current WHMIS certification an asset.
- Ability to adhere to all infection prevention and control protocols and screening requirements.
