We are currently looking to strengthen our presence in Nigeria by hiring a Business Development Manager who can build and lead high-value client relationships and strategic partnerships.

Role Summary

We’re seeking a motivated and commercially minded Business Development Manager to drive our expansion strategy in Nigeria. This individual will play a key role in identifying business opportunities, managing high-level partnerships with dealerships, and delivering vehicle supply solutions to government agencies and corporations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth through strategic planning, lead generation, and relationship management.
  • Identify, develop, and close high-value opportunities with corporate clients and public sector agencies.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with local and international auto dealerships.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to shape and implement Zensur Motors’ commercial strategy in Nigeria.
  • Lead market intelligence efforts: monitor competitor activity, identify trends, and propose actionable strategies.
  • Represent the brand in meetings, presentations, and high-stakes negotiations with clients and partners.
  • Oversee contract negotiation and ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
  • Regularly visit clients and dealerships to maintain engagement and address emerging needs.
  • Support logistics, pricing, and supply chain coordination to ensure timely vehicle delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Track and report sales performance, pipeline activity, and market feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (BSc/BA/HND); MBA or additional certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ proven sales or business development experience in the automotive or logistics sector.
  • Strong understanding of dealership operations and vehicle procurement processes.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales or government contract acquisition.
  • Solid negotiation and communication skills, with fluency in English (verbal and written).
  • Confident presenter with the ability to lead discussions with senior stakeholders.
  • Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and drive projects from start to finish.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and problem-solving ability.
  • Familiarity with vehicle export processes and customs requirements is an advantage.
