Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Delivery Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of data migration project and AI based delivery items. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, ensuring the timely delivery of IT solutions, and maintaining high standards of system security and performance. This role requires a strong background in systems engineering, network infrastructure, and project management, with excellent leadership and communication skills. The Delivery Manager will play a pivotal role in aligning technical operations with organisational objectives to optimise service delivery and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and quality standards.
- Oversee server management, network security, and information security protocols to safeguard organisational data and infrastructure.
- Coordinate with technical support teams to resolve system issues promptly and efficiently.
- Manage network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, Cisco routers, firewalls, VMware vSphere, Microsoft Windows Server environments, Azure, AWS, and remote access software.
- Implement disaster recovery plans and ensure business continuity through effective systems engineering practices.
- Utilise tools such as SolarWinds, ServiceNow, Jira, SharePoint, Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and organisational skills to streamline operations.
- Supervise technical teams in managing Active Directory, DHCP, IIS, SQL Server (including Microsoft SQL Server), VMware vSphere, Linux systems, and network support functions.
- Develop and maintain project documentation using tools like Microsoft Project and organisational skills for effective time management.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders through clear reporting and presentation of project status updates.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL frameworks and organisational policies related to cybersecurity standards.
Experience
- Proven management experience in delivering complex IT projects within a corporate environment.
- Extensive knowledge of server management, computer networking (LAN/WAN), network engineering, and infrastructure design.
- Strong background in information security practices including network security measures such as firewalls and remote access software.
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementing system resilience strategies.
- Familiarity with systems engineering principles across diverse platforms including Google cloud is important.
- Competence in using network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds; ticketing systems like ServiceNow; project management tools such as Jira; collaboration platforms like SharePoint; and MS Office applications including Word, Excel (including advanced analysis skills), PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with supervising experience in technical teams; excellent organisational skills; strong communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; effective time management skills.
