We are currently seeking qualified and compassionate Internal Medicine Physicians to join our team of specialists providing essential care in rural clinics.
Position Overview:
We are in need of Specialist Internal Medicine Physicians to serve in our network of rural clinics located in the Northern USA and Western Canada. The ideal candidate will be a skilled clinician with a strong commitment to patient-centered care, community health, and working in resource-conscious environments.
This is a unique opportunity for physicians seeking meaningful work in supportive, mission-driven settings with full professional and immigration support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care to adult patients
Manage acute and chronic medical conditions including diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, respiratory disorders, and gastrointestinal illnesses
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, family physicians, dentists and other allied health professionals
Participate in on-call rotations as required by clinic protocols
Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with local regulations
Support training and mentorship of junior medical staff and students where applicable
Contribute to quality improvement and community health initiatives
Requirements:
Mandatory: Fellowship of the West African College of Physicians (FWACP) in Internal Medicine OR equivalent international board certification (e.g., MRCP, ABIM, or other recognized specialist qualification)
Medical degree from a recognized institution
Minimum of 3 years of post-residency clinical experience in internal medicine
Eligibility for medical licensure in the U.S. or Canada (assistance provided)
Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills
Commitment to serving rural and underserved populations
Ability to adapt to diverse cultural and clinical environments
