    The Biologics Regional Innovation and Technology Ecosystem (BRITE) Project

    This 3-year initiative, funded by Research England, represents a major regional initiative focused on establishing a robust biologics innovation ecosystem across the Liverpool City Region and the Northern Powerhouse. With a focus on monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and complex medicines, the project will strengthen collaboration between leading academic institutions and industry partners, accelerating the development and commercialisation of biologics-based health technologies.

    About the role

    As the Biologics Translational Innovation Manager, you will lead the identification, development, and commercialisation of biologics research assets and translational projects emerging from the BRITE programme.

    You’ll work closely with academic teams, external partners, and key stakeholders to develop and implement effective commercialisation strategies, manage intellectual property strategies, and help bring LSTM-led biologics innovations to market or wider adoption by both public and private sector partners.

    This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a flagship regional initiative with national and international relevance in biologics innovation, particularly in the fields of monoclonal antibodies and advanced. You’ll also play an important role in embedding a culture of enterprise, innovation, and translational research practice across LSTM, supporting delivery against BRITE’s programme objectives and impact goals.
