Job Purpose
The Yard Worker will maintain organization of the yard and equipment all while providing support to shop operations. This position is working 7 days on 7 days off from 6am to 6pm.
What you will do…
- Loading and unloading of rental equipment
- Status verification of equipment on the yard
- Stage equipment for delivery
- Stage equipment for maintenance and repair activity
- Ability to diagnose and repair earth moving and aerial equipment
- Review reservation reports to ensure the correct equipment is ready to rent
- Wash and light maintenance of equipment, function checks of equipment prior to the next rental
- Equipment quality inspections
- Maintain organization on the yard
- Ability to deal with customers as required
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Results orientated, process and problem-solving skills
- Team player with initiative and a positive attitude
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Capable of driving equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Yard or other operational experience at an equipment rental yard
- Construction related experience
- Technical degree related to equipment maintenance is a plus
Conditions of Employment
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s license
- A recent abstract will be required
- Ability to work 7 days on, 7 days off, 11.5 hours per day straight time
- All employment is contingent on successful completion of drug and background screening
Flights are provided out of Edmonton or Calgary only and you will be staying in camp.

Pay Range: $29.62/hr plus living allowance if local
