Job Title : Software Development Graduate Internship Program

Location: Abuja & Lagos

Job description

As a software developer (Intern), you will be accepted into the Datalinks Internship Programme (DIP), where you would learn the habits of effectiveness, the culture and values of the organisation and the practice of software development and customer satisfaction.

This program is open to recent graduates seeking NYSC placement, graduates seeking Post-NYSC experience and students seeking industry experience or any person interested in upskilling and starting a career in tech.

NOTE : This is not a PAID position; however, stipends are offered to help with data expenses and other necessities.

Responsibilities/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• The candidate should have working knowledge of the software development lifecycle: SDLC (Requirement gathering and analysis, Design, Coding and Implementation, Testing [including unit and integration testing], Deployment, Maintenance).
• Basic knowledge of C#, Java or similar programming language.

• Basic working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript. Knowledge Ract JS, Angular and other Front End development frameworks are not mandatory for beginners.

• Basic knowledge of the use of modern tools and technologies that help with the software development lifecycle. Specifically:
• Git for version control.
• Maven or Gradle for project lifecycle management.
• Attitude to fit, and a decent dose of effective curiosity.

• Accountable via set metrics and performance indicators.

• Good communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of modern computer hardware, software and ability to work on multiple assignments with efficiency.
