Project Officer
Job description
We’re looking for a proactive and motivated Project Officer to join the Digital and Data Team within our ambitious and forward-thinking Greater Cambridge Shared Planning Service.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small, dynamic team driving innovation and continuous improvement across the planning service. You’ll play a key role in delivering a range of projects – from Council-led initiatives to those funded by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG).
As a Project Officer, you will work collaboratively across the planning service and with colleagues in both Cambridge City and South Cambridgeshire District Councils, helping to shape smarter, data-driven ways of working.
We’re looking for someone who is highly organised and confident managing projects, with strong analytical skills and an eye for detail. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively with colleagues of all levels. You should also bring a genuine interest in innovation and public service improvement.
