Job Overview
This is a temporary, full-time position based in Edmonton, AB, offering 30–40 hours per week at a pay rate of $47–$54 per hour. The role requires strong teaching, research, and communication skills, along with a background in education and community program development.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Designing and supporting community-based programs.
- Assessing the needs of individuals and groups to inform program planning.
- Working closely with health professionals and families to coordinate and evaluate care.
- Delivering educational sessions focused on health and well-being.
- Carrying out research projects related to nursing and applying findings in practice.
- Providing guidance, counselling, and life skills support.
- Offering advice and professional input on issues affecting nursing practice.
- Taking on administrative duties as needed.
- Supervising staff and ensuring responsibilities are managed effectively.
Work Environment
You’ll primarily be working in an educational or institutional setting with a hybrid model that may include both on-site and remote work. Some travel may be required. The position can be demanding, with tight timelines and attention to detail being essential. You will need access to a cellphone and reliable internet.
What We’re Looking For
