Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Tier 3 Network Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Aruba networking solutions, especially Aruba Central and Aruba Gateways, to support and improve complex hotel and resort networks.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with large-scale hospitality Wi-Fi environments, captive portal systems, and enterprise-grade security solutions. You will be responsible for building, upgrading, and troubleshooting hotel networks to ensure reliable, secure, and seamless internet access for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Aruba gateways, including replacing legacy systems such as Nomadix
- Build and reconfigure Aruba gateway environments from the ground up for hospitality use cases
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot captive portal and hotspot authentication systems
- Diagnose and resolve complex networking issues in unfamiliar or undocumented environments
- Manage and optimize wireless networks using Aruba Controllers, Aruba Central, and Ruckus SmartZone
- Support and configure Fortinet firewalls across multiple hardware models
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of hotel Wi-Fi networks
- Collaborate effectively with other engineers and technical teams in high-pressure situations
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Aruba Central
- Practical knowledge of Aruba 9004 Gateways
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for captive portal solutions
- Experience working in hotel or resort networking environments
- Ability to analyze, document, and repair unknown or inherited networks
- Experience with Aruba, Ruckus, Ubiquiti, and Fortinet equipment
- Solid understanding of firewall configuration, gateways, and network security principles
- In-depth knowledge of Wi-Fi design and deployment for hotels
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Certifications
- Fortinet NSE certifications
- Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA) or Professional (ACMP)
- Ruckus wired or wireless certifications
- Cisco CCNA or CCNP (or equivalent)
- Any relevant networking or security certification is a plus
Compensation
- Monthly salary range: USD $650 – $800 (approximate)

- Core working hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (USA)
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends when required
