    About Tandem Health

Tandem Health is building technology that genuinely improves how healthcare works — starting with clinicians. Our AI-powered tools are designed around real clinical workflows, helping doctors and healthcare professionals spend less time on documentation and more time with patients.

We’re a rapidly growing health-tech company, supported by leading investors and expanding internationally. Our team values curiosity, ownership, and impact. Everything we build is grounded in real clinical experience and focused on solving meaningful problems.

In partnership with Accurx, a major healthcare communications platform in the UK, we’re rolling out ambient AI scribe technology to NHS clinicians nationwide. This technology creates high-quality clinical notes automatically during consultations. With dozens of live pilots across NHS hospitals and mental health trusts, we’re scaling quickly and changing how clinical documentation is done.

    The Role

This is an entry-level role within Tandem’s Medical Operations team, ideal for someone with a clinical background who is interested in technology, AI, and real-world product implementation.

You’ll be responsible for introducing and supporting Tandem’s AI medical assistant in NHS secondary care settings. This means working directly with clinicians, helping them adopt the product, training teams, and ensuring deployments run smoothly. You’ll also play a key role in shaping the product by feeding back insights from real clinical use to our engineering team.

    APPLY NOW

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Leading implementations: Take responsibility for rolling out the AI scribe across NHS sites, from onboarding clinicians to ensuring successful go-live.
    • Working on-site: Travel frequently to hospitals across the UK to support deployments, deliver training, and provide hands-on support. Some deployments may require extended time on-site.
    • Training and support: Run training sessions, observe clinical workflows, and support clinicians as they begin using the product.
    • Improving the product: Help refine note templates and AI prompts to improve accuracy and usability based on real clinical feedback.
    • Using data to show impact: Gather usage data and outcomes to demonstrate value and effectiveness to NHS stakeholders.
    • Building relationships: Develop strong connections with clinicians, identify champions within Trusts, and help document success stories.
    • Supporting growth: Assist with product demonstrations, attend events, and support commercial conversations alongside senior team members.
    • Collaborating internationally: Take part in occasional trips to Stockholm to work with the wider Tandem team.

    What We’re Looking For

    • A clinical background (for example, a recent medical graduate, junior doctor, nurse, physician associate, or allied health professional).
    • Strong interest in technology and AI, and how it can improve healthcare delivery.
    • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to work across clinical, technical, and commercial teams.
    • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deployments.
    • A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership.
    • Flexibility to travel frequently and support critical deployments when needed.

    Nice to Have

    • Experience or interest in working with AI tools or large language models.
    • Familiarity with creating or refining clinical templates or documentation.
    • Awareness of UK or EU digital health and clinical safety regulations.
    • Previous experience in implementation projects, training, or customer-facing roles.

    Location & Work Style

This is a full-time role based in London with a strong in-office culture. Regular travel to NHS sites across the UK is a core part of the role, along with occasional trips to Sweden to collaborate with the wider team.

    Hiring Process

Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. The process includes:

    1. Initial screening interview
    2. Timed practical exercise simulating real tasks
    3. Interview with Medical Operations leadership
    4. In-office working day in London
    5. Final presentation and interview with senior leadership

Background checks will be completed due to the sensitive nature of healthcare data.
