Job Description
The Chancery Rosewood – opening in Summer 2025, a Rosewood Hotel Group property, is housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. It will include 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, including a variety of dining and entertainment spaces: providing a stage for progressive ideas, voices and expression.
We are seeking a Housekeeping Coordinator to oversee the daily administrative operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring seamless organisation and efficiency. This role plays a vital part in supporting the team, coordinating tasks, and ensuring clear communication between housekeeping associates and other departments. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach, you will contribute to maintaining the highest cleanliness standards while enhancing the overall guest experience. This role is due to start in June 2025.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee housekeeping administration, ensuring schedules, payroll, and inventory are efficiently managed to support daily operations.
- Nurture and support the housekeeping associates, assisting with onboarding, training, and fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Effectively manage guest requests, ensuring timely, accurate follow-ups and resolutions to maintain a positive guest experience.
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and contractors, ensuring strong working relationships and seamless coordination to support department efficiency.
- Collaborate with all associates, supporting the overall success of the hotel and prioritising guest satisfaction through effective communication and teamwork.
