What You’ll Be Doing
In this versatile, hands‑on role, you’ll support multiple onboard departments, including retail, hospitality, housekeeping and catering. Key responsibilities include:
Cabins (Housekeeping / Hotel Services)
- Preparing and cleaning guest cabins to exceptional standards
- Ensuring a clean, welcoming and comfortable onboard environment
Restaurants & Food Service (Hospitality / Catering / F&B)
- Delivering friendly and efficient guest service
- Clearing tables, supporting food and beverage operations and maintaining hygiene standards
- Washing dishes and ensuring dining areas are spotless
Shops (Retail / Sales / Customer Experience)

- Operating tills, handling cash and maintaining well‑stocked, attractive retail displays
- Supporting retail merchandising plans to maximise sales
Customer Service & Operations
- Creating a welcoming atmosphere for passengers
- Addressing and resolving customer queries promptly and professionally
- Maintaining vessel cleanliness and supporting operational tasks across departments
- Ensuring compliance with safety, food safety and quality procedures
- Contributing to KPI targets, minimising wastage and supporting stock control
What You’ll Experience
Working at sea is full of energy, variety and purpose. No two days are ever the same. You’ll be part of a team that looks out for each other — a place where strong teamwork, great communication and shared experiences create a genuinely positive working culture.
With excellent training and real opportunities for development, many colleagues start in OSS and progress into long, successful careers across hospitality, marine operations, retail, logistics, leadership and more.
Benefits

Whether your background is in hospitality, retail, hotels, catering, F&B, housekeeping or general customer service, you bring pride, energy and professionalism to every shift.
You’re adaptable, calm under pressure and ready for a role that offers variety, purpose and the chance to create meaningful experiences for every guest.
