Full job description
Large Healthcare Provider is seeking Assistant Nursing Home Administrators for their 300 bed skilled nursing facility in Brooklyn.
Ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing home facility
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance
Create and maintain a positive and supportive work environment for all employees
Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure quality resident care
Develop and implement care plans for residents, including those with dementia or developmental disabilities
Ensure resident rights are respected and upheld at all times
Monitor medication administration to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
Maintain financial records and budgeting for the facility
Coordinate with external agencies, such as insurance providers or government entities, as necessary
MUST HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field
Valid nursing home administrator license/certification
Strong knowledge of social work principles and practices
Familiarity with care plans and dementia care best practices
Understanding of resident rights and ability to advocate for their needs
Proficiency in medication administration protocols and regulations
Financial acumen to manage budgets and financial records effectively
Knowledge of memory care programs and strategies
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
