Aviva Canada is looking for motivated and customer-focused new graduates to join our Auto and Property Claims team. This opportunity is designed for students graduating in April 2026, with a planned start date in May 2026. If you are passionate about helping people during difficult moments, enjoy problem-solving, and want to build a long-term career in insurance, this role offers a strong foundation and room for growth.

As a Claims Advisor, you will often be the first person our customers speak to after an accident or loss. Your role is to support them by listening carefully, explaining next steps clearly, and guiding them through the claims process from start to finish. You will review claim details, investigate what happened, and determine appropriate outcomes while ensuring customers feel informed and supported throughout the experience.

This position requires comfort working independently in a digital environment, managing multiple tasks, and following regulatory and company guidelines. You will receive ongoing training to strengthen your claims knowledge and customer service skills, and you’ll be encouraged to share ideas that help improve processes and customer experiences.

    APPLY NOW

The role follows a rotating weekday schedule:

    • Auto Claims: between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
    • Property Claims: between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.

This is a hybrid role, combining both in-office and remote work, based in Oakville, Ontario.

    What we’re looking for

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Confidence working with digital tools and online systems
    • A customer-first mindset with empathy and professionalism
    • Curiosity and willingness to learn and improve processes
    • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team culture

At Aviva, we value integrity, accountability, inclusion, and collaboration. We encourage applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences and are committed to providing workplace accommodations when needed.
